Description
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide derived from GHRP-1, with very potent growth hormone (GH)–releasing properties, showing efficacy and potency comparable to GHRP-6, both in vitro and in vivo. Unlike other GH secretagogues, ipamorelin does not significantly increase adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) or cortisol levels. This selectivity is crucial, as many other GH secretagogues also stimulate ACTH and cortisol release, which can lead to unwanted side effects. Ipamorelin also promotes increased bone mineral content, IGF-1 production, insulin, and muscle growth.
